1. Principle
Information is retained only while it is needed for service delivery, security, disputes, accounting or legal obligations.

| Backups | According to the active backup rotation |
2. Deletion
Deletion from live systems may not immediately remove information from encrypted backups. Backup copies expire through normal rotation and are not restored except for resilience or recovery.
3. Holds
Information may be retained longer where required for litigation, fraud prevention, tax, regulatory or security purposes.
